Staleks Pro Expert 40 Tweezers TE-40/12
STALEKS
$26.00
A 65-degree boot with wide short edges, for technicians who build fans on their fingers and need to lift them off the tape without breaking them.
Made for the finger method
Staleks singles this model out for exactly that: forming the fan on the finger rather than from the tape. The working surface is medium width and short, which is the combination that lets you pick up a fan you have already shaped and keep it shaped. It will take one lash or several with the same grip.
Off the tape without damage
The second thing Staleks claims for it is lifting material off the tape neatly, without breaking or deforming the lashes. Anyone who has pulled a strip and found half of it kinked knows what that is worth over a full day.
Specification
- Boot, 65 degrees. Working part 9 mm, overall length 125 mm. Opening not stated.
- Volume from 2D up to 8D. Extended handles.
- Manual sharpening; ground and polished so adhesive does not stick.
- Satin matte. All disinfection and sterilisation methods allowable. Two-year warranty.
Sixty-five or seventy-five degrees
The TE-41/6 is the same idea at 75 degrees with a wider opening and straight handles. Sixty-five is the flatter, more general-purpose of the two; seventy-five suits you if your fans are consistently large.
Good to know
Canadian supply of this model is thin — it is out of stock where it is listed at all. Pair it with the straight TE-41/10 for isolation.
