The case for narrow edges

A wide working surface is forgiving when you pick up a big fan and clumsy when you need one lash. These edges are deliberately narrow, and because they close along their whole length rather than at the tips, they hold whatever shape and thickness you put between them. That is a different promise from a boot, which is optimised for bulk.

Same angle, different tool

This and the TE-41/2 share the 40-degree bend and an 11 mm working part. The split is the body: Expert 40 against Expert 41. Take this one for gripping across a range of thicknesses; take the 41 if your work is mostly ultra-thin fibre and corners.

Good to know

Pair it with a straight isolator in the other hand. A volume tweezer and an isolation tweezer are not interchangeable, and using one for both is the fastest way to blunt the tool that matters more.
