Why you need these with an LED lamp

LED extension is fast, and the trade-off is that you sit under a UV source for several hours a day, every working day. The damage is cumulative rather than dramatic: eyes that feel tired earlier in the day, then earlier again a year later. UV400 blocks the whole harmful range, and it costs one appointment.

Clear lenses on purpose

A tinted lens protects your eyes and ruins your judgement — you cannot assess a chocolate fibre against skin or spot a grey cast at the base through an amber filter. These are clear, so colour and contrast read true while the UV is still blocked. The anti-glare coating handles the reflection off the lamp itself.
