ZOLA Color Lab Lamination Kit 3 x 1 ml

Three sachets, one treatment: pink lifting gel, blue volume fixer, green hyaluronic elixir. ZOLA states it works on brows and on lashes.

What each step does

• 01 Lifting Pink Gel. Thioglycolic acid opens the cuticle and softens the internal structure so the disulphide bonds can be rebuilt in a new shape. Carries hydrolysed keratin.
• 02 Volume Blue Fixer. Locks the new bonds and brings the hair back to its natural pH.
• 03 Hyaluronic Green Elixir. Sodium hyaluronate and panthenol — hydration and repair after the chemistry.

On timing

ZOLA publishes processing times for its full-size Color Lab system but not for this sachet format, and we are not going to invent them or borrow a retailer's. Work to the leaflet in the box and to the hair in front of you: a fine, previously treated brow needs a fraction of what a thick untreated one does, and overprocessing is the one mistake in lamination that cannot be undone in the chair.

Why sachets

A bottle of lifting compound starts ageing the moment it is opened. Single-dose sachets remove that variable completely, which is what makes them the honest format for a technician doing two or three lifts a month rather than twenty. They are also how you try a system without committing to a full kit.

• Twenty-four months sealed; three months once a sachet is opened.
• Suits both brows and lashes, which not every sachet set on this shelf does — the InLei Brow Bomber is brows only and the Lash Filler is lashes only.
• Apply with a microbrush, never a metal tool.
