What opening the cuticle buys you

A natural lash is not a smooth rod. Its surface scales lie flat and closed, and adhesive gripping a closed cuticle holds on surface tension alone. A primer lifts those scales so the glue keys into the hair rather than resting on it. That is the difference between a set that sheds at week three and one that grows out.

How to use it

• After cleansing, before adhesive. A mandatory prep step, not an optional one.
• Apply with a microbrush — a cotton bud drinks half of it.
• Let it dry fully. Priming onto a wet lash undoes the point of it.
