Two to five minutes, and why the range matters

An old set that has been growing out for six weeks releases faster than one placed a fortnight ago with a strong adhesive. Check at two minutes rather than setting a timer for five: a remover left on past the point the bond gives is not working any harder, it is only sitting on the client's lid.

Gel-cream, not cream and not gel

A thin gel runs toward the waterline the moment the client's eye moves. A heavy cream sits so still it never reaches the bond. This sits between: it holds its shape on the lash line and still wicks into the glue point. The supplier calls it the fastest of their cream removers, and the texture is why.

How to use it

• Place it on the bond with a microbrush, not near the waterline.
• Two to five minutes, checking as you go.
• Wipe the residue off with a fresh microbrush, then rinse with water.
