Back-to-Business: Why Fall Is the Best Time to Start Lash Training

Back-to-Business: Why Fall Is the Best Time to Start Lash Training Last updated: August 2026 | Reading time: 5 minutes If you have been thinking about becoming a lash artist, fall is strategically the best time to start training — and it is not just because of the back-to-school energy. There are concrete business reasons why September enrollment sets you up for success. The Holiday Season Advantage Training in September or October means you complete certification with 2–3 months before the holiday rush. November and December are the busiest months in the lash industry — every woman wants fresh extensions for holiday parties, New Year events, and family photos. If you start training in September, your timeline looks like this: September — complete certification. October — practice on friends and family, build your portfolio. November/December — catch the holiday demand wave with your new skills. Clients are actively looking for lash artists during this period, and many are willing to try new artists because their regular artist is booked solid. This is your window to build a client base. The Psychology of Fall There is a reason every school, program, and self-improvement initiative launches in September. After a relaxed summer, people are energized to invest in themselves. The "new school year" mentality does not disappear after graduation — it is deeply wired. If you have been telling yourself "I will start in the new year," challenge that instinct. January starters do not reach proficiency until March or April — missing the Valentine's Day and spring bridal rush entirely. What My Fall Courses Include I offer classic, volume, and mega volume courses with September start dates. Each course includes: hands-on training with live models (small group sizes of 3–4 students), a complete professional starter kit, theory and safety education, business fundamentals, certification, and ongoing support after graduation. Courses are available in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. Investment and Return A classic lash course costs $800–$1,500. If you price your services at just $100 per set and do 10 clients in your first month, you have nearly recouped your investment. By month three, most graduates are profitable. By month six, they are earning a meaningful income. FAQ What if I cannot attend in-person training in September? I run courses throughout the fall. If September dates do not work, October and November sessions are available. Contact me for the current schedule. Do I need any prior experience or education? No. My courses are designed for complete beginners. The only prerequisites are steady hands, patience, and a willingness to learn. Can I work part-time as a lash artist while keeping my current job? Absolutely. Many of my graduates start part-time — evenings and weekends — while maintaining their regular employment. As their client base grows, they transition to full-time if they choose.
